Shutdown?

Unlike the government God will never shutdown. Everyone is concerned about what is going to happen to the United States and we as Christians should be even more concerned. We have chosen to go against God and elect a non-Christian president and now everyone is having to pay the price for our decision. Our country was founded on Christianity despite what some might say and yet we continue to allow our president to go against God. He is trying to force everyone to abandon our faith in God by bullying the citizens. We all need to do more research and use our voices to speak out against what we know is wrong. The Bible tells us to obey the laws of the government unless they go against God. When they start to interfere with God then we are suppose to be willing to take a stand even in the face of prison time or death. God will give us the strength to conquer our enemies. Obama is not a Christian and does not have the interest of America when he makes these laws. He knows exactly what he is doing and he weakening this country on purpose. We need to wake up and see the truth behind his lies. He should be made to step down and if that does not happen then we should all make sure to vote for a Christian republican in the next election if we survive that long. That is unless Obama finds a way to stay president even longer which would not surprise me. For those of you who read my blog and do not live in the United States please pray for our country. We are under the thumb of someone who is not loyal to the Lord or his country. I see very bad things in our future if something does not change. The Christians in our country are trying to stop him, but in the end he will have the last say and God help us all when he does.

Tithing in a Bad Economy

This week is going to be short and sweet speaking the truth about tithing. This is a sensitive subject for some, and can even keep people from going to church. No church is going to make you gives tithes. You do not need to feel bad if you don’t think you can give. What I will say is the Bible does tell us we are suppose to no matter our financial situation though. Tithing is God’s portion of what you make, and goes to maintain the church you attend so they can continue to do the Lord’s work. God says in the Bible we should give to Him from the top of what we have and give with a cheerful heart. God will not abandon you if you do not give, but those that tithe faithfully will be rewarded for it. God will always make sure you have the things you need, and we should not let money rule our lives. I have seen people tithe who barely had enough money to pay their bills and yet they some how make it through every month. Typically tithing is 10% and can be deducted from your taxes. You should give like you pay taxes; right off the top. The people who benefit from this money are all of God’s people. It allows more of God’s will to be done. I encourage everyone to at least try tithing for one year; just as I encouraged everyone to attend church for one year. You will see the blessings the Lord will give in your life. Keep in mind those blessings may not be money, but will be fulfilling in your life. You trust God with your eternity and believe He will fulfill His promises, then why don’t you trust Him with your finances. He will keep the promises He gave in regards to them to.Thanks for reading and God bless.

Next week will be about parenting.

Why America was Founded

After months of praying and God laying this on my heart, I have decided to start a Christian blog. This blog may be considered offensive to non-Christians as well as some who call themselves Christians. It is not meant to be offensive nor to start any fights. It is simply a means for me to express myself and to get the truth out to the world.

I want to start this blog by posting about why America was founded. It has been so long that people are starting to forget the truths behind our country. This country was founded on the freedom of religion. That does not mean what people may think. It was not intended for all religions. It was originally a way for people who were Christians and wanted the chance to worship freely without having to attend Catholic churches. It is so Christian churches could be built and members can learn God’s word and how to get to Heaven. Catholics have different views on this but the Bible is very clear. The ONLY way to Heaven is through the belief that Jesus is our savior, died for man’s sin, rose from the grave, and will return again. Only through His salvation are we saved. It seems people have forgotten why our country was founded. We are expected to be tolerant of all other religions yet people who do not believe in Christianity can say what ever they want about Christians and the Bible. We are not allowed to have the Bible in schools and yet they allow other religious practices. Why is it wrong for Christians to try and save the souls of others publicly, but not wrong for other religions to force their ideals.

I could go on, but for now I will leave you with these thoughts: Saying anything about God or the Bible use to be a crime punishable by jail time…now people look at Christians as being crazy. It is one of the most argued religions yet the Bible is the most historically proven book of all time, not to mention the best selling. God’s word is Absolute Truth and there is no grey area just because some of His rules makes you uncomfortable. Also, with so many religions everyone must realize that only one can be right. If I am wrong nothing bad will happen to me, but if a non believer is wrong it means spending eternity suffering. Not a chance I am willing to take. I offer this challenge to anyone willing to except: My mom always says you can do anything for a year no matter how bad. The challenge is for those who do not believe or do not know what they believe. Attend a Baptist church for one year with an open heart and mind. If nothing changes in your life just stop going. Churches do not require you join you can go the whole time as a guest. If something does change for you and you realize the truth then feel free to share your story. You will be surprised at the amazing things God can do for you. FYI, no He will not make you rich or give you everything you ask for. I will be posting regularly and my next post will be about some of the famous preachers who are not preaching God’s word, and are not preaching the Absolute Truth.

Thank you and God bless, Jessica
